About THIC 2016

We greatly welcome you all to the 4^th Tourism and Hospitality International Conference (THIC) with the theme of " Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Sustainable Development." this is an international conference initiated by Universiti Utara Malaysia in collaboration with Universitas Ciputra and Prince of Songkla University.

It was 2012 when THIC was held for the first time in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the theme of "Issues and Challenges in Tourism and Hospitality Recourses." The 2nd THIC was organized in Langkawi, Malaysia in 2014 on the theme of " Dimensions of Sustainability theme in the Planning, Development and Management of Tourism and Hospitality Industry."
The 3rd THIC was held in Surabaya, Indonesia in 2015 on the theme of "Dimensions of Entrepreneurship in the Planning, Development and Management of Tourism and Hospitality Industry."

This collaboration, we believe, will mark an initial and enormous step in strengthening and improving the academic efforts among the three leading institutes in the South East Asia region. It is hoped that all presenters and participants at THIC 2016 will find the intellectual excitement they would expect from this conference. Therefore, we say welcome you all to Prince of Songkla University, Surat Thani Campus and enjoy THIC 2016.
